Obituary: Carol Eyvonne Roberts, April 19, 1948 - November 1, 2018

Carol Eyvonne Roberts, age 70, of Portland, Ore. passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 1, 2018.

Carol was born April 19, 1948, in Los Angeles, Calif.. At a very young age, she moved to Portland in the 1950's. Growing up in Portland she attended both Highland and Boise grade schools and was a proud graduate from Jefferson High school.

Carol was one of the most loving and genuinely kind people you could ever have the privilege to meet. She was a member of Allen Temple C.M.E. church for more than 60 years, during which she served as the church secretary, member of Missionary, an usher and a long-standing member of the choir. Carol worked for Wells Fargo for 40 years, retiring in 2014. During this same time, she also had a second job at the Performing Arts Center for more than 30 years.

She was an amazing lady that truly made the world a better place, her gentle demeanor and caring nature towards others set an example to everyone who knew her. Carol is survived by her son Donnell.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11:00 am, Maranatha Church, 4222 NE 12th Avenue, Portland, Ore.
