Obituary: Fairy Miles, May 6, 1928 - November 16, 2021

Fairy was born on May 6, 1928, in Kerens, TX to Aaron and Carrissia Jimerson. After high school Fairy moved to Portland in the late 1940’s and attended community college working in the healthcare nursing field until retirement.

She married Harrison Miles and had four children, sons Harrison Miles Jr., Jeffery Miles, Billie Miles, and daughter Patti Miles. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Fairy was exceptional in every way, “feisty” as all get out. She traveled all over the world, Russia, China, Turkey, Germany, etc., enjoyed her Hughes Memorial Church community throughout her life, and her time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, and husband. She passed away peacefully from dementia complications on November 16, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at Zeller Chapel of The Roses, 2107 NE Broadway Street, Portland, OR 97232 on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
